Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)

I offer ketamine-assisted psychotherapy as an option for adults whose trauma, depression, or emotional pain has not shifted enough with traditional talk therapy alone. This work is careful, structured, and always grounded in a strong therapeutic relationship. It is not a quick fix, and you are never expected to move faster than your system can tolerate.
KAP can be helpful if you feel chronically stuck in numbness, despair, or looping memories, even after years of trying to heal. With appropriate medical oversight for the ketamine itself, my role is to prepare you beforehand, accompany you through the experience, and then slowly integrate what arises so it becomes usable, grounded change rather than a fleeting insight. Preparation sessions focus on safety, intention, and education about what to expect. During ketamine sessions, I provide a calming, attuned presence and gentle guidance when needed, while also giving you space to move through your inner experience. Integration sessions afterward are where much of the healing takes root: together, we make meaning of what came up, connect it to your history, and translate insights into grounded shifts in daily life.
I often weave in Internal Family Systems "parts work" to support protective parts that may feel wary of this process, and to tend to vulnerable parts that finally have room to be heard. KAP is offered as part of ongoing therapy, either virtually where appropriate or in person near Phoenix, so you do not have to navigate this process with a stranger.
If you are curious about whether KAP might be right for you, I offer a free consultation to talk through your history, current supports, and safety considerations, and to answer questions about how this work fits with your broader healing.
